Collection Specialist  

The Collection Specialist position monitors, collects, and maintains corporate accounts receivable to  

ensure payments are received in a timely manner, coordinating with account executives as needed.  

Reporting Relationships:  

Reports directly to Accounts Receivable Manager, NA

Major Responsibilities  

Key Accountabilities  

Monitoring, collecting & maintaining accounts  

Monitoring cash reports for unapplied payments  

Preparing & distributing periodic receivable reports/aging reports and other information to field  

sales and management personnel  

Supervise temporary staff as needed to handle spikes in billing volume and associated increases  

in receivables  

Communicate account concerns as appropriate  

Provide timely, professional response to Account Executives and sales management to resolve  

collection issues and disputes  

Prepare write-off recommendations as required  

Process customer refund requests after determination of validity  

Special projects as determined by Business Support Manager or other Finance Management  

Detailed accounting and analysis experience
