Candidate Onboarding Specialist


The primary responsibility of the Candidate Onboarding Specialist is to partner with CT program Engagers and delivery leaders to assign CT candidates to Career Consultants, while recognizing, considering and responding to the needs of specific customers, programs, billing requirements and candidate needs.

Note: Efforts will be made by the employee's leader to establish as much consistency as possible in the employee's schedule, however, this is a part-time hourly role with no guarantee of a specific number of working hours per day and week. Must be able to start work immediately; training will be provided. 


Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports directly Director of Candidate Services; Reports indirectly to the area Lead Consultant.

Major Responsibilities

Candidate Onboarding

  • Actively manage the intake of newly engaged CT candidates into their LHH program through ORBIT CMS, completing the activate of new referrals within designed timeframes 100% of the time.
  • Recognize and act upon specific billing requirements for individual referrals and customers; ensure referrals are billed correctly. Partner with Director of Candidate Services and financial support resources when exceptions arise, or assistance is needed.
  • Provide candidates with program onboarding welcome letters, documents, resources, and tools.
  • Register and support candidate participation in new candidate orientations and events.
  • Actively partner with Lead Consultant to match candidates to Career Consultants based on candidate program offered, professional level, industry experience and desired career path.
  • Manages workload within schedule schedule, including managing time off, in partnership with leaders and peers to ensure continuity of business in their absence. 

Required Experience


  • Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Strong fluency in French Canadian is preferred but not required.
  • Strong fluency in Spanish is helpful but not required.
  • Must be able to work within US time zones.
  • One to two years’ corporate or professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability and success working in a virtual work environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels with an organization and remain agile with changing processes and priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of working in a CMS or similar record management software.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; strong working knowledge of office technology enhancements.
