Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst position with be a part of our Global FP&A team, responsibilities include: Global financial reporting & modeling, forecasting & budgeting analysis, KPI tracking & analysis, executive presentations.

 

Reporting Relationships:

      Reports to the Manager, Global FP&A

      Works closely with Global Sales and Operations Leaders

      Works in a team environment with fellow analysts

      Requires global coordination and communication

Direct Reports:

      None

Major Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

      Interpretation & analysis of key performance indicators (financial & non-financial)

      Partner with various business leaders to provide analysis and insights using multiple data points and sources

      Build & validate financial models to assess future outcomes, including risks and opportunities

      Track and forecast global investment spending & requests

      Conduct regular financial reviews with key stakeholders of actual results to identify forward-looking opportunities & risks

      Leverage data to identify patterns as part of optimizing long and short-term forecasts

      Partner with all areas of the business – both operational & functional to assist with executive presentation preparation

      Produce detailed & meaningful ad hoc analytics in support of business needs

Required Experience/Characteristics

      Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field

      Additional education with data analysis or predictive analytics a plus

      Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in a finance or reporting/analyst related role

      Strong documentation and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information while maintaining attention to detail

      Strong organizational, observational, and communication skills

      Ability to work in a team environment and independently

      Must be dependable, keep a cool head under pressure, and have high integrity

      Creative problem solving

      Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

      Financial systems software skills required, JD Edwards a plus

      Strong systems aptitude, Web-based reporting systems experience is a plus

      Positive attitude

      Time & priority management skills a must

      Self-starter and ability to work independently, as needed
