The role of the LHH Engagement Specialist is to get the commitment from clients to begin their LHH services, ultimately resulting in the start of their program and our ability to bill the corporate client for the program. Engagement is an extension of the sales cycle. Effectively, the ES is “closing the second sale”. We know not every individual will take advantage of our services, but it is the job of the ES to convert as many eligible clients as possible.
The ES may be the very first person at LHH that an individual will speak to, so it is critical to be prepared, knowledgeable and compassionate. Some individuals have known for a long time that their jobs were being eliminated. Some have found out only recently. Their emotions can range from relief to anger to shock or denial. Regardless, we have found that most individuals are grateful for our calls and offers to assist them. You are in a position to truly make a difference, one individual at a time!
Reports to VP, Director of Engagement
Follow outreach protocols to connect with customers
- 10-15 outbound calls per hour
- Send, receive email customer correspondence
Describe career transition services and assist customers in signing up for their free service
Meet and exceed required weekly/monthly new customer sign ups
High school graduate or equivalent
Prior customer service/sales experience
Professional and articulate voice
Excels working in a fast-paced environment with evolving business needs
Able to work a set Monday-Friday schedule
Home office that is noise & distraction free
Computer and USB headset
Internet with a wired Ethernet connection to PC/Laptop
