Social Media Manager

This is a global role and can be based in Europe or the USA (eastern)

We're looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our digital marketing team for a contract duration of 1 year with the expectation of converting into a full-time role (decision based on candidate and company performance). This role will be responsible for delivering an ambitious social media program which has measurable impact on brand awareness globally and supports demand and lead generation. Our product suite contains both B2B and B2C products, and B2B social media marketing experience will be highly beneficial to success in this role.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our global brand on social media.

Are you right for this role?

You are a strategic thinker who is also comfortable with playing a hands-on role in executing social media strategy. You bring a strong level of marketing discipline, a deep understanding of effective social media strategy, specifically for LinkedIn – our main channel – and will be highly competent in overseeing organic and employee activated social media strategy.

You will be highly commercial, with a strong understanding of how to drive business outcomes through marketing activation. You will have exceptional attention to detail and an ability to partner with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders up and down the business. You will have strong project management capabilities and will be used to collect and report on success metrics and key milestone to stakeholders.

Your new role

As a key member of the Digital Marketing Centre of Excellence team, you will:

  • Own the creation, execution, and measurement of LHH’s organic social media strategy through partnership with heads of Product Marketing, thought Leadership, Events, and Communications. Align the social media strategy to key business objectives and own results reporting to global CMO.
  • Create and manage an organic social media content calendar, mapping content to business needs, creating social content, partnering with senior stakeholders for input and signoff, and managing execution. Primary channel is LinkedIn, additional channels include Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Oversee social media governance at LHH, providing the materials and training needed to ensure colleagues can appropriately act as brand ambassadors
  • Manage a part time freelance copywriter responsible for creating organic social content
  • Execute the global social media strategy for a matrixed business to drive business outcomes (grow brand equity, deliver high quality leads and grow revenue)
  • Oversee community management activities
    • Monitor and respond to brand mentions on social media
    • Monitor and respond to comments on our social media posts across platforms
    • Monitor and respond to Facebook messenger inbox messages

In addition, “nice to have” experience in paid social media includes experience with:

  • Paid LinkedIn strategy creation and execution, including: Partnering with stakeholders to determine resource allocation by product and region, audience segmentation, content creation, campaign setup and execution, campaign optimization, and reporting
