The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Manager, Global Accounting responsible for accurately performing and reviewing all month end activities including reconciling the general ledger and performing in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Reporting to the VP of Global Accounting, this role will combine technical accounting skills with strategic thinking to support the organization's financial integrity and growth.
What You'll Do:
- Manage month-end processes to ensure accurate and timely month end, quarter end and year end close.
- Maintain and review key balance sheet reconciliations with VP Accounting and lead the quarterly balance sheet reviews with CFO.
- Effectively manage priorities, utilize team members, and challenge process design to achieve timely completion of month end close and reconciliations.
- Ensure financial information is reviewed to identify any issues that would impact the accuracy and reliability of financial information presented.
- Be the subject matter expert of all aspects of tasks that are being overseen as well as the point of contact.
- Manage revenue activities from daily order entry to month end trade accrual, intracompany reconciliation, and deferral calculation.
- Manage AR activities and collaborate with local LHH accounting teams to ensure timely escalation and collection of invoices and booking adequate provisions.
- Manage AP and procurement activities to ensure accurate vendor setup, and accounting entries and accruals.
- Support EZRA specific tax and accounting activities required by LHH or the Adecco Group Accounting, including but not limited to tax reporting, lease accounting, intercompany netting, internal compliance, preparation of annual statutory financial statement, statutory reconciliation, audit, among other accounting related activities.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing and reporting.
About you
- 5+ years experience in a relative accounting role
- Passionate about innovation and looking for better ways to work
- Strong in MS Excel with the ability to use pivot tables and v-lookups
- Experience collaborating across timezones
- Experience working with Utilize Outlook, Peoplesoft, Dynamics and Salesforce
