UK&I - Career Development & Mobility Lead Consultant
This role is accountable for the strategic planning, upskilling, and delivery of UK & I LHH Career Development & Mobility (CD&M) offering.
Reporting Relationships:
- Reports directly to Director of Operations, UK & I
- No direct reports
Major Responsibilities
Delivery Management
- Leads delivery of Career Development & Mobility projects in the UK & Ireland under the umbrella of our Career Transition & Mobility offering
- Partners with Lead Consultants and Director of CT&M Delivery to oversee and manage the daily performance of assigned CD&M Consultants and Facilitators
- Partners with Global Product Team and Global Delivery Enablement to ensure consistent content and delivery of CD&M services.
- Partners with CD&M Project Team to oversee client delivery, facilitation, overall resourcing requirements and quality across projects.
- Partners with Practice Lead for Mobility, UK & Ireland, and Global Innovation Team to evolve the mobility solution for delivery in accordance with client/market needs.
- Stays abreast of global changes to the Career Development & Mobility solution, and incorporates these changes into local delivery, and informs solution sellers.
- When required, becomes a key point-of-contact with clients for their Career Mobility & Development programmes to ensure quality delivery on complex or custom projects.
- Partners with Solution Leads on presentations and marketing events.
- Maintains a small caseload; meet or exceed all personal quality delivery KPIs.
- Facilitation of live workshops and coaching where required.
- Oversee any changes required to materials based on client need and input into any changes required at a global level.
- Ensure all services are delivered at the highest quality standards and all CD&M consultants use LHH’s current methodology and standards.
- Ensure accurate candidate reporting through timely data entry into systems.
- Monitor all delivery reporting and respond to gaps to ensure all delivery KPIs are met. Review and resolve all quality issues, including from quality surveys, on a timely basis and with the best possible outcome for both the candidate and the business.
- Build and implement a talent strategy that maintains an ongoing CD&M bench of consultants/coaches and workshop facilitators that aligns with the sales pipeline ensuring diversity and high quality. Oversee onboarding and training of CD&M consultant and workshop facilitator bench.
- Ensure delivery team develops and maintains mastery level knowledge of LHH CD&M Resources and market changes to ensure Coaches are exposed to relevant services and tools.
- Anticipate, analyse, and identify client delivery needs and drive consultant professional development to ensure delivery capabilities can meet those needs effectively and profitably. Consistently seek out, engage, and train the next generation of coaching topics and methodologies.
- Provide guidance to Coaches by conducting meetings that include discussing and adopting best practices in delivering career development services to as well as updates on customer requests.
- Create and maintain delivery processes linking the portal functionality and delivery requirements.
- Understands backend systems of NGen (Orbit for Consultants (OfC)), Career Mobility Portal (CMP); how these link to delivery and training Coaches/Consultants on any updates.
Financial Leadership
- Partners closely with Operations Director in P&L management to drive business results in assigned markets.
- Reacts quickly to revenue fluctuations to ensure the region maintains high quality and achieves Delivery Service Cost (DSC) targets, through effective staffing model management.
Preferred Experience/Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- 10 years of corporate business experience preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in delivery or leadership of Human Capital Consulting Services.
- ICF Certification a plus
- Strong knowledge of comprehensive exposure to talent development, career development, career transition, change management, and leadership development; able to deliver services to a broad cross-functional Associate population, including people managers, senior managers, and executives.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Passionate about top quality customer service and employee engagement.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate effectively in person and across virtual platforms.
- Demonstrates adaptability, self-awareness, empathy, working in teams, and communicating effectively.
- Experience presenting to internal and customer groups.

- Must successfully clear a credit / security / background check if required by Customer.
