Practice Leader Career Development & Mobility - LHH UK&Ireland (fix-term 12 months)

The Career Development & Mobility (CD&M) Practice Leader – Maternity Cover will be responsible for driving the growth and reputation of LHH’s career development and mobility business through effective team leadership, impactful solution sales, and ensuring high-quality delivery and implementation. This role will provide thought leadership to inform client solutioning & sales, marketing, delivery, infrastructure needs and decisions, strategy, and product development.

- The CDM practice leader will manage a 4-member CDM team (2 Solution Leads & 2 Delivery Leads)
Location:
- The preferred location is hybrid with some on-site presence in London, UK, and some travel to clients, while flexibly allowing work-from-home.
In this role you can expect to
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the UK & Ireland Career Development and Mobility Solutions and Project Management team to create and deliver client solutions to the existing and expanding client base.
- Design and implement growth strategy for Career Development and Mobility, including client strategy, global delivery enhancements, interfacing with global teams, coordinating with local delivery lead and leading local solutioning and project management team.
- Support continued enhancement and growth of the Career Development and Mobility offering through interaction with clients (and understanding their needs), the global delivery and product innovation team, and local delivery.
- Analyse and identify trends in sales, client, market, and competitive conditions to inform growth strategy. Leverage data to track and drive successful execution of growth strategy.
- Provide input to marketing and thought leadership to drive Career Development and Mobility success.
- Ensure capability to sell and deliver Career Development and Mobility, including input to sales enablement, partnering with BDs, and developing a team of experts.
- Represent the customer perspective in product design and development.
- Collaborate, as a member of the leadership team, to shape the culture and ensure colleague engagement and retention.
Team management & collaboration
- Lead, manage, and train 4-member mobility team (2 solution leads and 2 delivery leads).
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, and delivery, including the Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, SVP of Global Innovation, Director of Operations, and the newly appointed Delivery Consultants.
Solution sales & leadership
- Partner with the UK & Ireland sales team to develop client relationships, design career development and mobility solutions, and win projects with key businesses, including FTSE 100 companies, for both existing clients and new prospects.
- Contribute to commercial targets by driving growth in existing client projects, securing new clients, and guiding solution leads to enlist new business.
- Maintain a deep and thorough understanding of LHH's full range of career development & mobility offerings to craft comprehensive solutions for clients.
- Upskill solution leads and the broader CTM sales team on consultative sales, product updates, and development roadmaps.
- Guide and mentor solution leads as they consult with clients and create mobility solutions for clients to solve their workforce challenges.
Project delivery & implementation
- Lead and supervise 2 delivery leads in managing end-to-end project implementation, ensuring successful project launches, exceeding client expectations in terms of quality, timeliness, and agreed success metrics.
- Support delivery team members and solution leads in project scoping and implementation meetings; attend internal planning sessions as needed. Conduct regular quality assurance checks and maintain client satisfaction through ongoing contact.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for high-priority clients from pre-delivery to post-delivery review stages. Attend sales pitches, business development meetings, and client reviews as required.
- Co-create and design LHH’s best practices and processes for career mobility project delivery, establishing guides for future implementations.

- Proven expertise in Career Development or related field, including enterprise sales or consulting experience.

- Career coaching experience or accreditation is a plus.
