What will you do?
The opportunity to work closely with the European (in particular, Germany) finance team on day-to-day transactional activities and wider finance projects and tasks.

Key responsibilities and tasks

Treasury and Cash Management

  • Post all incoming and outgoing cash onto NetSuite
  • Reconcile bank accounts to NetSuite on a weekly basis
  • Ensures sufficient funds are available for payment of suppliers, taxes, and monthly payroll
  • Main point of contact for all cash queries

Accounts Payable

  • Obtain approval for all purchase/supplier invoices and post onto NetSuite
  • Review purchase ledger regularly and chases missing AP invoices
  • Ensure timely payments are made to suppliers within credit terms each month
  • Ensure supplier ledgers are fully reconciled on NetSuite
  • Maintain and updates supplier ledgers with bank details regularly
  • Review employees’ expenses and processes payment
  • Reconcile and post credit cards onto NetSuite each month
  • Main point of contact for all accounts payable queries

Other responsibilities

  • Assist in the year-end audit process 
  • Provide cover for team members during vacation/illness/vacancy periods
  • Train and educate non-finance colleagues to ensure finance processes are correctly fulfilled
  • Compile ad-hoc reports and/or analysis as and when required
  • Add new project and task codes onto ClickTime system (times sheet system) and maintain current data
  • Ad hoc duties as required

About you

  • 2+ years accounting and finance experience would be ideal
  • Spoken and written German language would be preferred but not a prerequisite
  • Ideally experienced on NetSuite accounting system
  • Part qualified, or wanting to commence professional examinations (a study support package will be provided)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness to undertake periodic travel to Germany (Munich & Düsseldorf)
  • Collaborative self-starter with initiative, who is goal driven
  • Energetic, confident, charismatic - a credible team player
