Maintenance Supervisor
Description
Lewis Apartment Communities currently seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a community mixed with apartments and duplexes. This community is 300+ units, located in Vacaville, CA.
The right candidate should have a strong proven supervisory background including team development along with strong experience in all aspects of general residential maintenance including:
- Management of Maintenance and Grounds staff
- Strong all-around maintenance skills in the apartment industry
- Experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance (dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc) installation and repair
- Making ready units for new occupancy
- Interaction with the community manager and staff
- Walking property with the community manager
- Maintaining units of current residents
- Managing/negotiating with outside vendors
- Maintaining the leasing office and all recreation facilities
- Requires reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Other requirements include:
- Moving and transporting heavy objects, as needed
- Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
- Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required.
- Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English.
YOUR SALARY & PERKS: Hourly salary for this role starts at $30+ per hour or more, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus and annual raise eligibility.
