Your Role: General Manager
As our successful General Manager, you will effectively supervise staff management and operations programs to maintain optimum occupancy levels, income, staff supervision, property value, community maintenance and excellent customer service within this large, upscale, Lewis-owned community.
What You’ll Do
- Consistent management of the Leasing, Maintenance, Resident Services, Event and Grounds-keeping staff
- Budgets & Property marketing
- Hiring, motivating, monitoring, and rewarding your team
- Reports, variances, occupancy, etc.
- Walking your community regularly to ensure asset preservation, safety, curb appeal and resident satisfaction
- Working with internal teams (HR, Operations, IT, Recruitment) to ensure successful operations of your community and staff.
- Working with MS Office (Word, Excel), OneSite and other property management software

What We’re Looking For
- A career background managing large, high-unit communities with sizable teams
- 5+ years of property management experience, with a strong supervisory background
- Proven knowledge of property budgets, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing regulation
- Skilled in team leadership, coaching, and performance management
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; property management software experience is a plus
