Your Role: Portfolio Leasing Consultant
As a Portfolio Leasing Consultant, you’ll serve as a key member of our leasing team, roving among multiple Inland Empire communities to provide exceptional service and drive leasing success. You will engage with prospective residents, showcase our upscale apartment homes, and guide them through the leasing process with professionalism and enthusiasm. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and building lasting customer relationships.
As a Portfolio Leasing Consultant, you’ll serve as a key member of our leasing team, roving among multiple Inland Empire communities to provide exceptional service and drive leasing success. You will engage with prospective residents, showcase our upscale apartment homes, and guide them through the leasing process with professionalism and enthusiasm. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and building lasting customer relationships.
What You’ll Do
• Greet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents, providing tours and highlighting key features and amenities
• Explain leasing policies, answer questions, and apply effective sales techniques to secure applications and leases
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of availability, pricing, and promotions to maximize occupancy goals
• Assist in preparing leasing agreements and ensure accuracy in documentation
• Conduct market research to stay informed on competitive properties and industry trends
• Collaborate with community teams to meet or exceed leasing and occupancy targets
• Contribute to marketing and outreach strategies that attract qualified prospects
• Support resident satisfaction initiatives by delivering exceptional customer service
• Adapt quickly to different properties and teams as you rove between Lewis communities

What We’re Looking For
• 1–2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or leasing (retail, hospitality, or real estate experience preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to close sales
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); property management software experience (OneSite, Yardi, AppFolio) a plus
• Reliable, professional, and self-motivated with strong organizational skills
• Must be able to work weekends (regular days off are Friday & Saturday)
• Valid driver’s license required
• 1–2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or leasing (retail, hospitality, or real estate experience preferred)

Compensation & Perks
• The Lewis Group of Companies reasonably expects to pay $25.00 per hour for this role, with actual compensation based on skills, experience, location, and business needs.
• Performance Incentives: Strong commission structure, annual merit increases, and annual bonus eligibility
• Cell Phone Allowance: $100/month
• Clothing Allowance: $650 in your first year, $450 each following year
• Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance (variety of plans to choose from)
• 401(k) Plan with Company Match

• Continued training and advancement potential within the Lewis portfolio
