Your Role
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our Information Technology team. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining communication, audio/video, and internet/intranet technologies across the organization. The ideal candidate will provide Tier 1 technical support, troubleshoot end-user issues, and help ensure reliable communication and collaboration systems company-wide.
Key Responsibilities
Communication Systems Support
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot communication systems including:
- Email applications and authentication flows
- Email signatures
- Desk phones, wireless phones, voicemail, and call routing rules
- Support mobile device deployment and management for iOS devices on both cellular and Wi-Fi networks
Audio/Video & Collaboration Support
- Set up, support, and troubleshoot conference room technology and online meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams
- Support end-user A/V hardware including webcams, microphones, headsets, speakers, and conferencing equipment
- Assist with mobile conferencing equipment and background music streaming platforms across multiple locations
Internet & Intranet Support
- Assist with domain management, DNS setup, SSL certificates, web hosting, and vendor coordination
- Support and maintain WordPress websites and intranet platforms
- Help manage integrations related to internet and intranet services
Technical Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for Tier 1 technical support requests
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally
- Escalate complex issues when necessary while maintaining excellent customer service
Qualifications for Success
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or a related technical role
- Experience supporting communication systems and end-user technologies preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with employees, vendors, and executives
- Ability to provide professional and effective support to end users
- Proficiency with:
- Windows operating systems
- Microsoft 365 applications
- Device management platforms
- Service desk/ticketing systems
Compensation & Perks
The Lewis Group of Companies reasonably expects to pay between $55k-$70k (non-exempt/hourly $27-$34) per year for this role, with actual compensation based on skills, experience, and business needs. Additional benefits include annual merit increases and bonus opportunities, a cell phone Allowance of $100/month, a variety of health plans to choose from.
