Position Summary:

Sales Development within Lessonly is a critical element to the company’s success.  Responsible for outbound lead development and top of funnel demand generation, the team of Enterprise Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) uses Lessonly’s superior position in the market to reach new prospects. As we continue to expand the SDR team and break into the Enterprise segment, we need an experienced leader to help manage and evolve our sales development strategy and team.

This individual will be responsible for leading a team of Enterprise Sales Development Representatives to set quality meetings and achieve pipeline growth for our Enterprise Account Executives. They will collaborate closely with sales and marketing leaders to hire/build and manage the team, monitor daily activity volumes and then work in conjunction with sales enablement to deliver training and coaching. This individual will report to Lessonly’s Director of Sales Development. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct SDR team performance to achieve goals, objectives and quota through training, one on ones, call coaching and motivating all aspects of employee performance
  • Participate in the SDR hiring process to assist with talent screening & hiring
  • Onboard new SDRs with training (including product knowledge, buyer personas, competition, tools training, and role-plays)
  • Ensure the effective use of software and tools utilized by the SDR team
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure efficient prospect/customer information exchange and hand-off
  • Maintain a high-performance SDR team culture


  • At least 1+ years in a sales leadership position with a track record of excellent team management skills (people and process) 
  • Proven success as a sales professional with an ability to lead the SDR team by example (experience in an ABM/Named Account Model a plus
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to train, motivate and coach SDRs in a fast-growth environment
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management in multiple departments
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Passion for employee and customer success
