Business Analysis Team Leader

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Analysis Team Leader for our Business Analysis team. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of business analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytical support to drive business decisions. The Business Analysis Team Leader will play a critical role in project management, team development, and strategic planning, contributing to the company's overall success.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
● Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance.
● Lead and mentor a team of business analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
● Conduct 121’s and performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify professional development opportunities.
● Manage workload distribution and ensure timely and accurate completion of analysis projects.
● Assess the urgency and importance of tasks and projects, ensuring that critical deliverables are addressed first.
● Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
● Lead initiatives to automate data collection and analysis processes where feasible.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
● Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis. At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
● Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects successfully.
● Strong leadership and team management skills.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g. SQL and Tableau).
● Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
● Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile)
● Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics, Economics, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
