Senior CRM AI & Automation Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior CRM AI & Automation Manager plays a pivotal role in architecting and scaling our CRM capabilities through intelligent automation and AI. You will be the technical engine behind our marketing, responsible for building the frameworks that enable hyper-personalized, automated campaigns at scale. Acting as the bridge between cutting-edge AI technology and practical CRM execution, you will empower our teams across Sports and Gaming to engage players more effectively and efficiently than ever before.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
1. AI & Automation Architecture
- Architect, build, and manage the operational framework for all AI-driven and automated content within CRM, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient processes.
- Own the end-to-end integration of dynamic content modules (e.g., Live Odds, Jackpot Tickers), turning data feeds into engaging, real-time player communications.
- Serve as the technical owner for our AI content generation tools, leading prompt engineering, model refinement, and API integrations to maximize output quality and efficiency.
- Partner with third-party providers and internal tech teams to scope, test, and deploy new automation features, tools, and capabilities.
- Continuously monitor the performance of automated journeys and content modules, using data (CTR, CVR, Engagement, ROI) to drive optimization and iterative improvements.
2. Centre of Excellence & Enablement
- Establish and lead a center of excellence for AI in CRM, developing comprehensive training programs, documentation, and best-practice guides for global CRM teams.
- Act as the primary subject matter expert and consultant for CRM teams, providing hands-on support for advanced prompt engineering, automation logic, and troubleshooting.
- Systematically gather and analyze feedback from Country Teams to refine AI models and automation rules, ensuring content is localized, compliant, and culturally relevant.
3. Innovation & Strategic Projects
- Lead strategic projects focused on developing new automated CRM capabilities, from proof-of-concept and business case to full-scale deployment.
- Collaborate with Brand and Design to translate brand guidelines and creative concepts into scalable, automated templates and content modules for email, push, and in-app messages.
- Stay at the forefront of AI, marketing automation, and personalization technologies, proactively identifying and championing new opportunities to enhance our CRM ecosystem.
- Ensure all automated systems and AI-generated content adhere strictly to legal, regulatory, and responsible gaming standards by design.
- Drive the continuous improvement of our automation stack, processes, and documentation.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING
- Deep Technical Expertise in CRM Platforms: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with a major CRM platform (e.g., Optimove, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud). You have built complex, multi-step automated journeys and segmentation logic from the ground up.
- Practical Experience with AI & Prompt Engineering: Demonstrable experience using AI for content creation. You have a proven ability to refine prompts and guide AI models to produce high-quality, on-brand marketing copy.
- Automation Mindset & Logical Thinking: You can naturally break down complex marketing ideas into the logical, sequential steps required for automation. You think in terms of triggers, conditions, and actions.
- Technical Project Management: Experience managing projects with technical dependencies, collaborating effectively with developers, data teams, and third-party providers to deliver on a roadmap.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Strong analytical skills with experience using performance data (A/B testing, engagement metrics) to make concrete recommendations for improvement.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: A commitment to flawless execution, ensuring every automated communication is accurate, compliant, and on-brand.
