LeoVegas Group is currently looking for a Swedish compliance expert to join our international compliance team. You will be based in our Stockholm (or Malta , with regular travel to Stockholm) office, work alongside both our Swedish facing business teams and our central team of compliance experts ensuring best practices and user experience are implemented for Swedish compliance requirements.

What you will do:

  • Being the Group expert and ambassador on all Swedish compliance matters, including following regulatory updates and ensuring you are firmly on top of any and all changes in the Swedish gambling market
  • Maintain a close relationship with stakeholders, including LeoVegas Group’s frontline operations staff, Sweden country manager and marketing teams ensuring early engagement in marketing processes and decision or operational developments which may impact or touch upon compliance matters, as well as working closely with other country compliance managers to implement best practices and processes across all jurisdictions
  • Assisting with ensuring LeoVegas is compliant with applicable regulations by providing the business with advice and support
  • Implementing and managing a programme of monitoring for compliance risks relating to the Swedish market and working alongside the Group Risk Management function to record, monitor and mitigate findings

Who are we looking for?

  • Cultural fit is very important. You will need to enjoy working with people who place humor at the center of their day to day responsibilities and who share our attitudes of “We make it happen”, “Simplicity rules”, “We chase betterness”, “Trust and accountability counts” and “We are Team Leo”.
  • A system driven mindset, with ability to see the bigger picture and while always having the detail to hand, the ability to not get lost in it.
  • Enjoy the accountability of working and making decisions autonomously in an environment that will always have a level of ambiguity.
  • A self-driven mentality with the confidence to drive your own agenda instead of micromanagement support and direction.
  • An excellent communicator and fluent in Swedish and English.
