• Month-End Consolidation Support: This involves assisting with the consolidation process of the group and analyse and interpret data to ensure that it complies with IFRS.
  
• Financial Reporting: Responsible for supporting the overall financial reporting processes, including preparing annual financial statements and related filings.
  
• Audit Liaison: Actively participating in the external audits, liaising with external auditors, and addressing technical accounting questions.
  
• Technical Accounting Expertise: Contributing to the preparation of technical accounting memos and position papers. This means researching and documenting the appropriate accounting treatment for complex transactions or issues.
  
• Regulatory Monitoring: Staying up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and assessing their impact on the organization's financial reporting.
  
• IFRS Implementation: Supporting the implementation and adoption of new IFRS standards, which includes evaluating existing accounting policies and procedures and making necessary adjustments.
  
• Reconciliation Oversight: Ensuring that month-end reconciliations from key processes are performed accurately and consistently throughout the finance department.
  
• Documentation Maintenance: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of accounting processes and systems.
  
• Internal Audit Facilitation: Supporting the internal audit process, which may involve providing documentation, answering questions, and implementing recommendations.
  
• M&A and Liquidation Support: Providing accounting support for group transactions such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and liquidations.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 6 years of progressive experience in accounting.
• A strong and demonstrable understanding of IFRS is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for analyzing financial data and identifying potential issues.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload is important.
• Experience in the gaming industry is considered a plus, as it would provide a better understanding of the specific accounting challenges and regulatory requirements of the industry.
