ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a keen interest in financial operations? We are looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. If you are organised, proactive, and eager to contribute to a growing organization, this is the perfect opportunity for you to develop your career in finance.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Perform general accounting functions, including preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
• Following up of any supplier queries, supplier statement reconciliations, investigation of discrepancies.
• Assisting in VAT Returns and preparing various compliance reports.
• Compiling the gaming tax calculations for gaming tax submissions.
• Carry out additional finance-related tasks as required.
• Assisting with interim and year-end audits.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Qualified Accountant (Master in Accountancy or ACCA)
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting.
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail are very important for this role.
• Ability to work independently.
• Organised with good verbal and communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
   

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience in the gaming industry.
