About the role

At LeoVegas, data is essential to all our decision making needs regarding customer behaviour, marketing, social media, product development and discovery of new markets. The data engineering team is responsible for gathering and processing this information into consumable insights using Big Data technologies.

Our team consists of three data engineers and two quality assurance engineers, now the team is seeking a hardworking data engineer with a strong technical background who is excited about developing state of the art solutions using Google Cloud Platform.

Tech stack:

  • Dataflow/Apache Beam
  • BigQuery
  • Composer/Apache Airflow
Qualifications:
  • ETL, building pipelines out of complex and high-volume datasets for both batch and streaming,
  • Java SE and SQL
  • Sound software engineering practises around test automation, CI/CD, version control
  • Knowledge about data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques
