IT Support Manager
Description
As an IT Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our IT support team, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, and providing excellent support to our staff. Your role will include managing IT assets, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing effective IT solutions.
We continuously focus on innovation, automation and customer satisfaction where the support engineers play an important role. Internal IT is in an expansive phase and will give lots of opportunities for learning new technologies and growth in the field of IT.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Lead a team of seven direct reporting support engineers located in our offices across Europe.
- Assist with computer equipment purchasing and installation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with technology and component vendors.
- Manage departmental budget and track spending on equipment and staff.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT Support Team
- Act as a mentor and provide oversight, coaching, and training to IT support staff
- Ensure that user inquiries and issues are solved correctly and in a prompt and professional manner.
- Ensure that on and offboarding of users are planned and executed timely and professionally.
- Implement any necessary preventive measures to reduce user issues

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- A minimum of 2 years in a similar role is.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Capable of adapting to a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess a critical and analytical mind
- Be able to create a vision for the department, define strategies and plans to move the team towards the vision.
