Overview

As a Product Marketing Manager for the Partnerships and Enterprise segment, you will have the unique opportunity to work on both B2C and B2B product portfolios. This position will focus on supporting three pillars of our business: promoting partner products to LegalZoom customers, promoting LegalZoom products to partner customers, and selling legal and compliance solutions to mid-market and large businesses. You will collaborate with cross-functional departments to design solutions for partners and to develop go-to-market strategy for launching new partnerships and products, while also identifying opportunities to optimize existing ones.

 

You will frequently represent LegalZoom externally through interaction and collaboration with partner stakeholders and executives, so organization, preparation, negotiation, and the ability to gain internal and external alignment are important skills for this role. You are creative, strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong communication, relationship building and project management skills. As a product marketer, you have experience partnering with product managers and large cross-functional teams to bring products/services to life. You pride yourself in thinking like our customers and you have a track record for delivering insights-driven marketing plans that produce excellent business results.  

 

You will:

  • Drive go-to-market strategies, launches, and campaigns for our B2B and partner products including positioning, messaging, packaging, pricing, asset/collateral creation
  • Understand the end-to-end customer journey, customer personas, and how partners fit in to help small businesses succeed and grow
  • Influence product strategy, testing, research and content roadmaps to optimize our position
  • Create and optimize messaging for partner offers and B2B products/services that resonate with prospective customers and help drive growth
  • Work with Business Development, Product Management, Marketing, UX/Creative, Sales, Customer Care, PR, Engineering, and Legal to ensure a great customer experience
  • Partner on market research projects for your portfolio to better understand the market, the competitive landscape, and gather intelligence to help inform product decisions and messaging
  • Monitor business health and recommend product opportunities and contingency plans

 

Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of Product Marketing or other directly transferable marketing experience
  • Experience driving campaigns, communications and go-to-market initiatives
  • Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable presenting and distilling information to executives
  • Excellence in thinking through end to end implications and presenting decisive recommendations
  • Proven track record collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated business ownership of a product or service line with significant revenue responsibility
  • Success influencing product strategy, design and development timelines and processes
  • Ability to apply consumer insights, research and testing to drive world-class marketing strategy
  • Not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo, with a bias for taking action
  • Experience working in both B2C, B2B, and with partners preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or higher degree preferred
