Overview
At LegalZoom, we are fanatical about delivering a world-class experience for our customers. Our Platform Operations Agents support our Virtual Mail Division by ensuring that our customers are able to digitize their mail and have the ability to view the contents of their mail from anywhere in the world. In this role, you will receive incoming mail from various mail carriers, and scan the mail in order for it to be digitized on behalf of our customers. You will be responsible for delivering processing speed, efficiency, and accuracy targets.
You will
- Document, sort, pack, and ship customer mail.
- Monitor the flow of mail from our remote locations to our processing center(s) and investigate any disruptions, opening cases, contacting vendors, and submitting refunds/claims when necessary.
- Import, categorize, and review address network shipping backhaul and invoice data from a variety of sources, including USPS and UPS.
- Support quality control metrics and programs, and drive continuous quality improvements (systems, processes, and capability), innovation and elimination of non-value-added tasks.
- Work with management to resolve production problems and bottlenecks to ensure efficiency and prevent delays & customer dissatisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned
- Occasional travel may be required as needed
You have
● 1+ yrs experience in a Customer Support role, Data Entry, Mailroom, Shipping and/or Account management
● Experience entering data into a system and comfortable being in front of a computer for a period of time.
● Ability to manage virtual mail inbox and ability to submit customer mail to their online account
● Some understanding of the shipment process and being able to ship packages to a specified location.

● Work with invoice data from a variety of sources, including USPS and UPS.
● Ability to manage physical mail within the office
● Requires exceptional attendance and punctuality.
● Able to lift 40lb.
● Ability and experience to independently self-manage, absent of leadership direct oversight.
● Positive-thinking and team player.
● Remote employees should confirm that the internet service available has adequate bandwidth to support all work processes.
LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is $33,800 - $43,750. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
