This hybrid position will work remotely as well as onsite in our Austin, TX office.

Overview
LegalZoom is seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager to drive our critical service delivery (“fulfillment”) platform. This role owns a high-impact platform that materially influences the customer experience, agent productivity and company-wide efficiencies.
You will define and lead the end-to-end product strategy for our service delivery platform, aligning cross-functional teams around clear priorities and measurable outcomes. This role operates with broad strategic scope and accountability, shaping direction, driving execution excellence, and delivering durable business impact through influence. While this is an individual contributor role, it carries senior-level ownership and influence across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Legal.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a strategic product thinker who pairs strong business judgment with deep customer empathy and operational rigor.
You will
- Own product strategy and execution for our Fulfillment Platform, ensuring cohesive delivery of customer and efficiency outcomes across initiatives.
- Drive customer empathy and advocacy. You'll gain the relevant customer insights from a variety of sources, knowing that your customers are both internal and external
- Define and articulate a clear product vision and multi-quarter roadmap aligned to company goals, customer needs, and P&L objectives.
- Drive prioritization and cross-functional alignment across initiatives, balancing near-term execution with longer-term strategic growth opportunities.
- Establish clear decision frameworks and performance metrics to support disciplined execution and transparency.
- Partner deeply with Engineering, Design, Data, Customer Success and Legal to drive delivery, resolve tradeoffs, and remove executional friction.
- Use qualitative and quantitative customer insights to identify high-impact opportunities and continuously refine strategy.
- Act as a senior product leader within the organization, elevating strategic clarity, decision quality, and product craft through influence and example.
- Lead platform product innovation, including AI-powered and automation-driven experiences, translating emerging capabilities into meaningful platform capabilities and measurable business impact.
You have
- 10+ years of product management experience, including experience operating with broad strategic scope and accountability for significant business outcomes.
- A deep user empathy for both internal and external customers
- Demonstrated success owning large, complex platform areas end-to-end, from strategy and discovery through launch and measurable impact.
- Experience driving cross-functional alignment and influencing senior stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.
- Experience translating advanced capabilities — including AI-, data-, or automation-driven features — into real customer value and business results.
- Excellent "data skills". You are curious and ask the right questions, quickly gather relevant data points and are able to independently analyze and form data-backed perspectives
- Ability to operate comfortably at multiple altitudes — from long-term strategy to detailed execution — without losing clarity or momentum.
- Strong communication skills and executive presence.
- A deep commitment to product excellence and building solutions that meaningfully improve outcomes for SMB customers.
The salary range for this role is $161,600-$258,500. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
