This hybrid position will work remotely as well as onsite in our Austin, TX office.
Overview
The Sales Performance Analyst III is a critical member of the Revenue Operations team who delivers fast, actionable performance insights that help drive predictable revenue, consistent team performance, frontline effectiveness, and operational excellence in a high volume contact center environment. This role leverages advanced analytics, data modeling, and reporting tools to diagnose funnel and motion-based performance, forecast revenue, and optimize sales agent effectiveness. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where rapid insight generation and data-driven decision-making are essential.
You will
- Analyze call center and sales performance data to identify trends, business drivers, root causes, and opportunities for improvement across the sales funnel and customer journey.
- Build and maintain advanced Excel or Google Sheets models for pacing, revenue forecasting, cohort analysis, and motion based revenue modeling tailored to high velocity sales environments.
- Conduct funnel and campaign diagnostics to optimize conversion rates and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Build and deliver standardized and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Excel, Thoughtspot, Hex, Salesforce (SFDC), and other BI tools.
- Perform agent behavioral analytics and CRM workflow analysis to inform coaching, training opportunities, and process improvements.
- Leverage contact center platform reporting (e.g., Amazon Connect) to monitor capacity, contact rates, handle time patterns, and operational impacts on revenue.
- Apply intermediate to advanced SQL for performance investigations and insights, cohort, and site validate, and support rapid insight generation for daily and weekly business cycles.
- Quantify the revenue impact of bottlenecks, funnel drop offs, campaign behavior, and agent skill gaps and provide clear recommendations to sales leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, Enablement, and Technology teams to align analytics with business objectives and priorities.
- Support the design and implementation of scoreboards, performance metrics, and standardized analytics for high-volume sales environments used for coaching and daily performance management.
- Deliver rapid, high-quality insights for business reviews, forecast updates, and performance deep dives.
You have
- 5+ years of experience in sales performance analytics, sales operations, revenue operations, or a related field, with a proven track record of supporting high-growth or high-volume sales environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for validating trends, troubleshooting anomalies, and supporting daily or weekly performance cycles.
- Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Thoughtspot, Hex, and Salesforce (SFDC) for building dashboards and delivering insights.
- Ability to generate rapid insights for daily and weekly business cycles in a high-volume sales environment.
- Experience with root cause quantification techniques, cohort and motion-based revenue modeling, and data modeling based on hypotheses.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain scorecards, scoreboards, and standardized analytics for sales teams using automation and/or AI.
- Excellent analytical, communication, task management, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, finance, analytics, or a related field.
LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($87,800-$140,400). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
