This hybrid position will work remotely as well as onsite in our Austin, TX, Sherman Oaks, CA or Mountain View, CA office.
Overview
LegalZoom.com is seeking a Manager to join our Business Finance team. This highly visible position will be responsible for supporting business leaders, working on strategic projects, building financial models, identifying business insights, and concisely reporting results to senior management. The optimal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, project management, and critical thinking abilities to collaborate with teams across our organization and foster data-driven decision-making.
You will
- Measure the financial performance of LegalZoom’s product initiatives and review with business leaders to optimize performance
- Manage the quarterly forecasting process for our Subscription business, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals
- Create compelling, data-driven presentations and reports that enable effective decision-making by business partners and senior leadership
- Build and maintain thoughtful financial models to drive decision-making
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, acting as the finance subject matter expert to guide teams on new and existing business opportunities
- Provide strategic thought leadership, driving new initiatives, simplifying processes, and building scalable solutions for business growth and efficiency
- Collaborate with Corporate Finance to deliver key financial planning, actuals, and performance analyses, identifying opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement
- Support the ongoing evolution of budgeting and planning processes to improve forecasting accuracy and alignment with business objectives
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support company goals and
operational excellence
You will
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field with 4-6 years
of experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or similar fields - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Other data visualization software skills are a
plus. Comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior
management - Excellent analytical and organizational skills; Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and
follow-through - Strong worth ethic with ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve
effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing, and sometimes ambiguous
environment - Clear communicator and presenter. Comfortable leading cross-functional working teams
- Prior understanding of SaaS business model KPIs is a plus
- Remote Employees should confirm that the internet service available has adequate
bandwidth to support all work processes
The salary range for this role is $94,500 - $151,200. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
