This role is based in our Austin, TX office.
Overview 
We’re looking for a dynamic Lead Sales Trainer to join LegalZoom and fuel the success of our sales and service agents. In this highly visible role, you will design and deliver engaging training experiences that enable agents to confidently navigate inbound and outbound sales, saves/retention conversations, and our expanding suite of product offerings.
As LegalZoom embraces an AI-first approach to learning and enablement, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how we up-skill our teams—leveraging AI tools, insights, and automation to drive scalable, personalized, and performance-focused training. Your work will directly impact business results, agent confidence, customer outcomes, and the evolution of our learning ecosystem.
You Will: 
  • Design and deliver engaging, high-impact training experiences—both live and virtual—that build agent confidence and readiness, even in fast-paced or evolving environments.

  • Create, review, and refine training content to ensure alignment with learning objectives, business needs, and performance metrics.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through QA results, agent metrics, and learner feedback to ensure programs drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Lead internal Sales training initiatives and serve as a key partner in delivering feedback and support to external training teams.

  • Collaborate with instructional designers to develop scalable, data-informed learning programs that support agent growth across tenure.

  • Standardize and manage training systems and documentation, ensuring quality, consistency, and easy access across all materials.

You have
  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, including curriculum ownership and cross-functional project execution

  • Proven ability to coach and develop others, including trainers, SMEs, and partner teams—building instructional capability and improving program execution

  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a bias for action and strong problem-solving skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and removing roadblocks

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a passion for driving performance through training across internal teams and partner organizations

  • Fluency in Google Workspace, Zoom, Confluence, Jira, and Articulate 360 preferred

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; highly self-directed and process-oriented

  • Skilled in facilitating both live and virtual training sessions, with the ability to adapt delivery style based on audience and context

  • Willingness to travel as required, including internationally
 
 LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($64,800 - $84,000). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
