This hybrid position will work remotely as well as onsite in our Austin, TX office.
Overview
The Salesforce Developer will be part of a team responsible for building and managing multiple enterprise Salesforce applications as well as maintaining the current implementation as per the technology roadmap laid out.  These applications will interface with home-grown LegalZoom applications, data services as well as third party applications. 
You will
  • Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis development of technical requirements, POC build, coding, testing, deployment and support
  • Develop high quality and scalable applications with Salesforce Lightning. and using Lightning Web Components   
  • Ability to review existing code, troubleshoot, break fixes and identify code changes in Salesforce Lightning and Apex back end code
  • RESTful API Integration experience between Salesforce and external systems is a must
  • Apply best practices and design patterns of best of breed applications developed on the Force.com platform
  • Drive the execution end to end with proactive ownership combined with ability to provide clear communication on progress and status reports, commitment to excellence and high standards and the ability to thrive in a team environment 
  • Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement
  • Seek out ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code
  • Participate in the complete software development life cycle, including functional analysis, technical requirements development, POC building, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Develop high-quality, scalable applications using Salesforce Lightning and Lightning Web Components.
  • Review existing code, troubleshoot, implement bug fixes, and identify necessary code changes within Salesforce Lightning and Apex back end.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs between Salesforce and external systems.
  • Apply best practices and design patterns for developing top-tier applications on the Force.com platform.
  • Maintain clear communication of progress and status reports, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, high standards, and teamwork.
  • Provide technical leadership, establish best practices for integration, application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage SFDC for process improvement and productivity, and offer recommendations to support rapid organizational growth.
  • Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process for implementing new and updated applications/code.

     

    You have
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or a related field
    • Salesforce.com Developer certification
    • 3-4 years’ hands-on coding experience with the Salesforce platform
    • 2+ years’ experience with Salesforce Lightning
    • Experience with Salesforce.com integration using REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API
    • Experience working with existing code, troubleshooting, and implementing code fixes
    • Knowledge of Force.com development best practices and design patterns
    • Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API
    • Detailed experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers
    • Proficiency in HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, SOAP-based web services
    • Demonstrated success with multiple Salesforce.com integration projects
    • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async
    • Experience with scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware, and other enterprise integrating technologies
    • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering and creating/deploying solutions to end users
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Force.com application packaging and deployment
    • Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum
    • Technical project management experience
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
    • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
    LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is $104,300 - 166,900. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
