Currently, we are seeking an IT Helpdesk Support with a strong English level to join our team.
Position Title: IT Helpdesk Support
Location: Remote (Colombia)
What you will be doing:
● Provide Level 1.5 to Level 2 technical support for end-users (internal staff)
● Troubleshoot issues related to:
○ Office 365 (email, Teams, SharePoint)
○ Zendesk (ticketing platform)
○ Printers and print connectivity (IP-based access, drivers, queues)
○ Internet and VPN connectivity (wired, wireless, and failovers)
○ Desktop/laptop hardware issues and basic component replacements
● Support Active Directory (password resets, group changes, account lockouts)
● Maintain accurate records in Zendesk: ticket logging, status updates, resolution steps
● Set up new devices (imaging, provisioning, software install)
● Collaborate with IT Implementation team during onboarding/setup
● Use remote support tools to assist users (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP)
● Monitor recurring issues and propose improvements or documentation
● Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess
● Main Skills:
These are the must-haves that are essential for this position.
○ 1–2 years in a Helpdesk or IT Support role (Tier 1 or mid-Tier 2)
○ Strong troubleshooting skills with:
■ Windows OS (installation, profile setup, patching)
■ Networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP, subnetting)
■ Printers and peripherals
○ Familiarity with Office 365 and Active Directory
○ Experience using a ticketing system (ideally Zendesk)
○ Remote support experience using tools like TeamViewer or RDP
○ Strong English communication, both written and verbal
○ Customer service mindset, empathetic, responsive, reliable
○ Autonomous, able to take ownership of problems and follow through independently
● Secondary Skills:
These are additional skills that will help you succeed in this role.
○ Basic scripting (PowerShell, Python)
○ Experience with 3CX phone systems
○ Understanding of SSO and MFA tools
○ Knowledge of SharePoint file permissions
○ Exposure to tools like Samsara, Idelic, Fusion, or McLeod TMS
