Currently, we are seeking a Project Manager with a strong English level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:
 
Position Title: Project Manager
 
Location: Remote / LATAM
 
What you will be doing:
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Hold Regular Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, etc.)
  • Work closely with Product Owners and business groups to set project plans and milestones
  • Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of the software team while ensuring all team members are actively working toward established milestones.
  • Administer, configure, and provide dashboard support of JIRA to support the development and business teams.
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.
  • Establish development plans based on requests and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate between IT and business teams to ensure clear communication and understanding.
  • Understand project finance to manage capacity, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Anticipate project completion and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Drive projects from conception to completion.
 
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
These are the must-haves that are essential for this position. 
  • Advanced knowledge of agile software development methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban.
  • Minimum of five years of full-time experience as a Technical Project Manager in an Agile environment.
  • Proven experience leading Agile Scrum teams and implementing Scrum practices.
  • Advanced expertise in Jira.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with experience in establishing guidelines in these areas.
  • Experience in IT project management, including knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Scrum methodology, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other agile practices.
  • Strong background in logistics to effectively manage projects in business environments.
  • Understanding of project finance to manage capacity, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in liaising between IT and business teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Secondary Skills:

  • Familiarity with Confluence.
  • Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited institution.
  • Scrum Master or Agile Certification.
  • Familiarity with managing technical projects and understanding the stack used by the company (React, Go, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, AWS, Azure).
