Lean Tech is seeking a detail-oriented, data-driven Paid Media Specialist to support the operational and analytical efforts of our paid media team. This role combines performance marketing execution, product feed maintenance, data integrity support, and reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring that marketing campaigns have the clean data, tagging, product structure, and support they need to function across all major platforms including Google, Meta, TikTok, and Affiliate. This position requires a blend of marketing interest, analytical mindset, and technical comfort with data systems.

What you will be doing:
As a Paid Media Specialist, you will monitor performance trends, assist in diagnosing issues, and provide data-backed insights that support the company’s paid media investment. You will be responsible for:
- Performance Marketing Support & Insights: Monitor performance across paid channels (ROAS, COS, CPC, CTR, etc.). Assist in identifying growth opportunities, help with campaign adjustments, and prepare performance readouts for the team. Support 1st-party data connections for audience targeting.
- Feed Maintenance & Optimization: Execute product feed updates through Feedonomics. Help optimize product titles, attributes, and metadata to improve visibility in ad auctions.
- Data Integrity, Tagging & Tracking: Support UTM taxonomy and naming conventions. Perform QA on tracking, pixels, and parameters to ensure accurate data ingestion into GA4 and dashboards. Collaborate with the technical team to address attribution inconsistencies.
- Performance Monitoring: Help investigate changes in performance at the campaign or SKU level, documenting potential causes (feed quality, competition, algorithms) and suggesting next steps.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support the Data Science, Catalog, Product, and Merchandising teams to improve product data. Work with media agencies on campaign tagging and routine reporting.
- Success Metrics: Improve marketing efficiency through tactical feed optimization, ensuring product data is organized, and providing the team with accurate, data-backed reports.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience: Foundational experience or academic background in performance marketing, e-commerce, or data analytics.
- Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, or similar platforms.
- Media Basics: Understanding of bidding, pacing, audience segments, and landing page behavior.
- Technical Tools: Interest or basic experience with Feedonomics and familiarity with tagging/UTM frameworks.
- Analytics: Foundational analytical skills with comfort using Excel/Google Sheets to track performance trends.
- Soft Skills: Proactive attitude, ability to prioritize tasks, and a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Interest in automotive or multi-SKU e-commerce; basic exposure to SQL or BigQuery; understanding of marketing attribution.
