We are currently looking for an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated Senior Business Analyst
Your Duties as a Lean Tech Warrior:
- Partner with platform success and leadership to collaboratively define and update roadmaps focused on key capabilities for the next generation of transportation management software solutions.
- Apply critical thinking to data to interpret trends in industry and data, analyze and suggest how a problem could be solved.
- Influence key stakeholders to build alignment with strategic objectives.
- In concert with product owners, able to drive prioritization of new capabilities for software development teams.
- Clearly articulate through the use of documentation how a product should function.
- Partner with developers to validate and document assumptions, and ensure features match developed functionality.
- Participate in QA validation to ensure applications are functioning as intended per the design specifications and supporting release activities.
- Participate in daily standups to track progress toward business and technical objectives.
- Collaborate with the technical team to define and document non-functional requirements for the solution such as performance, response time, and availability.
- Test and improve business processes to leverage products/solutions.
- Assist with project management of the overall product.
- Break down requirements into features and user stories in partnership with other BAs, scrum masters, and technical leads.
- Reporting Modernization: Develop connectivity between datawarehouse and powerbi to enable business KPI reporting
Business Analytics Enhancement:
- Generate insightful reports and dashboards to communicate key freight metrics and performance insights.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze freight data and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve decision-making and drive business results.
Why We’ll Love You:
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Business Analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manipulate data and create insightful reports.
- Strong understanding and practical application of PowerBI, including PowerQuery, DAX, and M language.
- Proficiency in SQL with demonstrated experience in querying and manipulating databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to document processes, requirements, and findings clearly and concisely.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
