Senior Sales Development Representative

Sales & Account Management

Description

Company Overview

Global Technology Services (Lean GTS) is a rapidly expanding global technology services organization with operations across Latin America, the United States, and the Philippines. We partner with leading enterprises across the logistics, financial, and entertainment sectors to deliver cutting-edge software and IT solutions. Joining Lean GTS connects you with distributed engineering teams, offering hands-on exposure to trending technologies and accelerated career growth across international markets.

We're currently looking for a SENIOR SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR) to join our team.

Location: United States (Remote with client/team travel)

What you will be doing

The Senior Sales Development Representative is a frontline outbound "hunter" who opens strategic client relationships, leads qualified initial conversations, and creates credible GTS pipeline. This senior-level role combines targeted prospecting, executive relationship building, initial technical discovery, and disciplined handoffs to the Senior Account Executive, with a structured progression path toward full-cycle commercial ownership as capability and business needs develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Account Strategy: Build account strategies for priority prospects using verified data from Growth Systems, formulating solid hypotheses regarding tech priorities, capacity bottlenecks, key buyers, and credible reasons to engage.
  • Executive Engagement & Multichannel Outreach: Systematically map and engage CTOs, CIOs, VPs of Engineering, Product, and Data leaders. Execute highly personalized email, phone, and LinkedIn cadences prioritizing account-specific hypotheses and relevant evidence over generic activity volume.
  • Network & Relationship Building: Open relationships through direct outreach, professional networks, referrals, industry communities, and events, establishing durable credibility through valuable, consultative follow-up.
  • Signal-Based Prospecting: Utilize verified signals—hiring activity, leadership changes, tech initiatives, and engagement metrics—to prioritize target accounts with Growth Systems and test business hypotheses during live conversations.
  • Discovery & Qualification: Lead qualified first conversations to uncover underlying business challenges, nearshore delivery fit, team capacity needs, stakeholder roles, timing, and buying processes.
  • Structured Opportunity Handoffs: Develop comprehensive opportunity briefs and secure accepted handoffs to the assigned Senior Account Executive; remain actively involved in relationship development and agreed next steps.
  • CRM Governance & Pipeline Discipline: Maintain pristine tracking in HubSpot for outreach, relationship history, lead source, discovery notes, and dispositions, keeping speculative account potential strictly segregated from qualified opportunities (Growth Systems owns bulk list enrichment and workflow administration).
  • AI-Assisted Sales Workflows: Leverage AI tools for account planning, stakeholder mapping, tailored messaging, discovery preparation, and documentation, demonstrating verifiable improvements in quality and speed.
  • Mentorship & Channel Optimization: Test messaging angles, share conversion insights across channels, and mentor junior SDRs on research rigor, outbound messaging, and qualification quality.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of proven success generating qualified B2B pipeline through proactive outbound hunting in technology services, IT consulting, software engineering outsourcing, tech staffing, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Executive Communication: Native or near-native English fluency with exceptional credibility and executive presence when conversing with U.S.-based technology executives (CTOs, CIOs, VPs of Engineering).
  • Discovery & Account Mapping Expertise: Strong initial discovery acumen, objection handling, multi-threaded stakeholder mapping, and account planning capabilities.
  • Proven track record of repeatable outbound results and the ability to build new executive relationships from scratch, rather than relying solely on a legacy portable book.
  • Hands-on experience with modern CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), sales engagement tools, and AI workflows for prospecting and research.

How Success is Measured

  • Qualified Conversations & Accepted Opportunities: Number of qualified executive conversations held and opportunities formally accepted by commercial owners against agreed standards.
  • Pipeline Progression & Revenue Impact: Volume and value of sourced pipeline progressing through stages (accepted opportunity proposal won engagement).
  • Conversion Quality & Velocity: Conversion rates and cycle time from first conversation to qualified opportunity by account, channel, and message.
  • Data Accuracy & Handoff Quality: Precision and depth of stakeholder maps, discovery evidence, next steps, and handoff documentation in HubSpot.
  • Consistency & Account Execution: Disciplined execution of agreed account plans, follow-ups, and relationship building across priority enterprise accounts.
  • Commercial Readiness: Tangible contributions to team playbooks, junior SDR mentoring, and demonstrated progress toward full-cycle readiness criteria.

Soft Skills

  • High professional confidence to engage C-level decision-makers comfortably as an informed peer rather than a transactional salesperson.
  • Self-motivated "hunter" mindset that handles rejection constructively, learns from conversation data, and drives daily output independently without hand-holding.
  • Consultative & Strategic Mindset: You focus on diagnosing business and capacity pain points rather than pitching generic services, identifying accounts with high future expansion potential.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You work seamlessly alongside Senior AEs and Growth Systems, prioritizing pipeline quality and shared commercial milestones.
  • Disciplined Execution & Coachability: An evidence-based approach to messaging, continuous learning, and adaptability to market feedback.
