Position Title: Integration Developer

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of integration projects using mapping software.
  • Configure and manage automation jobs to ensure seamless integration processes.
  • Set up and maintain technical communication channels with trading partners using protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP, and HTTP.
  • Provide problem-solving support for complex integration development issues.
  • Document, test, and analyze technical requirements, transforming business requirements into programming and design specifications.
  • Design and support various data structures to facilitate integration processes.
  • Develop and update reports from multiple line-of-business applications.
  • Create and maintain custom documents from multiple line-of-business applications.
  • Coordinate EDI testing, implementations, and upgrades to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Stay updated with EDI standards beyond X12 and EDIFACT to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Advanced experience in developing, coordinating, implementing, and working on EDI-related developments & mappings.
  • Proficiency with Altova software suite for mapping and job automation systems.
  • Strong understanding and experience with communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTP).
  • Advanced use of project management tools such as Jira and AHA.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, RDP).
  • Proficient in development using XML, Delimited, X12, Edifact, API, and JSON formats.
  • Advanced understanding of relational databases with development experience using MSSQL.
  • Experience with jq for JSON, and XSLT for data transformation.
  • Advanced data analysis and troubleshooting skills, emphasizing requirements analysis, coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Basic to advanced understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, and PowerShell scripting. 

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with additional EDI standards and protocols beyond X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs for developing custom integration solutions.
