We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to lead complex Salesforce development and integration projects within the Engineering team at Lean Tech. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Product Managers, cross-functional stakeholders, and Scrum teams to deliver innovative solutions that streamline business operations and enable new product launches. 

As a Mid+ member of the team, you will independently design, implement, and maintain Salesforce solutions, focusing on Sales Cloud and Health Cloud (preferred), while leading integrations and ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping the technical landscape and supporting strategic business initiatives.

Position Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: Remote 

What you will be doing

● Lead the development of custom Salesforce applications to enhance client management and operational workflows.
● Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and in handling errors proactively.
● Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
● Implement TDD (Test-Driven Development) practices and ensure high-quality code through unit testing and code reviews.
● Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
● Work independently in Jira and progressively integrate into frequent Scrum team meetings, ensuring code commenting, repository management, testing, and TDD practices are followed.
● Maintain and improve existing Salesforce applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
● Contribute to DevOps pipelines for Salesforce CI/CD deployments, ensuring smooth release management.
● Stay current with Salesforce features, best practices, and emerging technologies, recommending adoption where applicable.

Requirements & Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
● 3–5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with demonstrable expertise in Apex, Lightning Components (LWC/Aura), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce customization.

● Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud; experience with Health Cloud is a plus.
● Proficiency in Salesforce APIs and integrating Salesforce with internal systems (no external Marketing Cloud integrations required).
● Experience designing and deploying DevOps CI/CD pipelines integrated with Salesforce CRM.
● Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling (standard/custom objects, relationships, fields) and best practices.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

● Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, Administrator).
● Experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
● Familiarity with Salesforce Community Cloud or similar collaboration tools.
● Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and integration monitoring techniques.
● Experience with high-impact integrations, product launches, and implementing TDD practices.
