We’re hiring a Mid+ Quality Engineer who will help deliver a robust, reliable, and scalable recruiting technology ecosystem that enhances the talent acquisition experience, supports automation and innovation, and aligns with HR and business goals.

Position Title: Mid+ Quality Engineer
Location: Remote - Colombia

What You Will Be Doing
As a key member of the HR technology and operations team within Talent Acquisition, this role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and seamless integration of recruiting technology solutions such as Avature and related platforms. The primary purpose of the position is to define and execute advanced QA strategies, design comprehensive test cases, and perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate system behavior and integration with platforms including Workday, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
Responsibilities include advanced test environment management, detailed defect tracking and resolution using tools like Jira, and preparation of QA reports to communicate quality status. The role supports User Acceptance Testing and ensures compliance with defined data and quality standards.
Working closely with recruiters, hiring managers, HR systems specialists, and cross-functional partners, the position plays a vital part in delivering a robust, scalable, and innovative recruiting technology ecosystem that drives process improvement and business growth. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies and test scopes to ensure alignment with project requirements and quality objectives.
  • Design detailed test cases and scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing, based on thorough analysis of business and technical requirements.
  • Prepare, configure, and manage dedicated test environments to support effective and isolated testing activities.
  • Execute advanced functional, regression, and integration testing to validate system behavior and integration across platforms such as Avature, Workday, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
  • Log, track, and validate resolution of defects using Jira as the primary defect management tool, ensuring systematic resolution prior to release.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) preparation and execution by collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
  • Validate the resolution of reported issues through focused retesting and confirm effectiveness of implemented fixes.
  • Provide regular QA summary reports and readiness sign-off, clearly communicating quality status and findings to project teams.
  • Ensure all QA processes and deliverables comply with organizational quality and data standards.

Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • 3+ years of experience in defining QA test strategies, scopes, and executing testing in enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in designing detailed test cases and scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in executing functional, regression, and integration testing for enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in defect management, including logging, tracking, and retesting defects using Jira.
  • Advanced experience in preparing, configuring, and managing test environments to support effective testing phases.
  • Strong ability to perform requirements analysis and translate business and technical needs into effective test scenarios.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter).
  • Intermediate experience in supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) preparation and execution.
  • Intermediate proficiency in QA reporting, including preparing test summary reports and communicating quality status to project teams.
  • Intermediate understanding of compliance assurance, with the ability to ensure QA activities align with data and quality standards.
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for reporting QA findings and working with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with the Avature platform is a plus.

Nice to Have
  • Experience working with HR technology platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
  • ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.
  • Familiarity with emerging QA methodologies or industry best practices in software quality assurance.
  • Background in change management or process improvement within enterprise environments.
  • Experience collaborating in multicultural or distributed teams.
  • Proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security considerations as they pertain to HR systems.
