Position Title: Mid+ Software Asset & IT Procurement Analyst

What are we looking for:
 
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Technology Business Management (TBM) team. This role focuses on software asset management governance and procurement lifecycle oversight, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and collaboration across IT, Procurement, and business units.
The ideal candidate will support contract execution, facilitate procurement processes, and maintain oversight of software renewals through dashboards and reporting tools. This role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of procurement and contract lifecycles, and the ability to use Power BI at a power-user level to track and report on key data.
 
What you will be doing:

Software Asset Management & Governance
  • Maintain and monitor software asset inventory across business units and shared services.
  • Track renewals, expirations, and recurring payments, ensuring decisions are initiated at least 90 days before contract expiration.
  • Partner with contract owners and budget stakeholders to consolidate contracts and optimize licensing terms.
  • Use Power BI dashboards (user-level, not developer) to review data, monitor renewals, and facilitate decision-making.
Contract & Procurement Lifecycle Support
  • Serve as the liaison for IT contract execution and procurement coordination.
  • Facilitate the end-to-end procurement lifecycle: from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO).
  • Collaborate with Procurement, IT budget owners, and vendors to ensure timely contract renewals and accurate order processing.
  • Provide guidance or direct support to contract owners during procurement steps.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Engage with contract owners, procurement, and stakeholders across departments to drive timely decisions.
  • Communicate commercial terms of contracts (not legal terms) clearly to non-technical and technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate procurement policies and financial governance.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in IT procurement, software asset management, or contract governance.
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes and software licensing models.
  • Experience using Power BI dashboards (power user, not developer).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of PR/PO lifecycle within ERP systems (Oracle ERP experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with CapEx/OpEx principles is a plus.
