Currently, we are seeking a Mid TMS & IT Operational Support Analyst (3GTMS) to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:
Position Title: Mid TMS & IT Operational Support Analyst (3GTMS)
Location: Remote - LATAM
What you will be doing:
You will be a core member of Lean Tech’s operations-embedded IT team, responsible for keeping day-to-day logistics operations running smoothly through hands-on ownership of the Transportation Management System (3GTMS).
- Act as a power user and subject-matter expert in 3GTMS, supporting live logistics operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues impacting orders, tenders, shipments, invoicing, and payments
- Support internal operations users, vendors, and carriers who actively use the TMS
- Configure and maintain carrier contracts, pricing logic, zip code rules, mileage-based rates, and related setups
- Investigate and resolve issues such as order creation errors, tender failures, rate discrepancies, and tracking problems
- Manage incoming work through Jira, participating in ticket queues and sprint planning
- Follow existing SOPs and contribute to improving documentation and operational processes over time
- Collaborate closely with operations and integration teams to ensure system behavior aligns with real-world workflows
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Hands-on experience with 3GTMS (Open to candidates with experience in the other major TMS Platforms: MercuryGate, Oracle TMS, SAP TM, or Blue Yonder, with the ability to ramp quickly into 3GTMS)
- Experience supporting a TMS or similarly complex operations-critical platform
- Strong troubleshooting skills in live production environments
- Experience working directly with operational teams and business users
- Ability to prioritize issues based on operational impact and urgency
- Experience working with ticketing systems such as Jira or similar tools
Nice to Have
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments
- Familiarity with carrier billing, freight rates, or contract configuration
- Experience contributing to or improving SOPs and process documentation
- Experience or interest in Python, Power Automate, or similar scripting/automation tools, used to build small tools or automations that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency
- Curiosity and initiative to work on “cool projects” or internal improvements during lower-volume periods
