The Product Owner will serve as a crucial bridge between our business objectives and technological capabilities. They will take ownership of multiple product lines, ensuring that our development efforts align with the strategic vision and customer needs. Position Title: Mid+ to Senior Product Owner
Location: Hybrid - Medellin, Colombia.
What you will be doing:
  • Strategic Product Planning: Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing product features and capabilities in alignment with business goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, effectively communicating business needs and ensuring alignment with product objectives.
  • Backlog Management: Own the product backlog, prioritizing based on value, complexity, and strategic importance, ensuring clear communication of requirements to the development team.
  • User Experience Advocacy: Incorporate user feedback into product development to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, adapting product strategy as necessary.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future development efforts.

 

Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product ownership role, with a focus on software or technology products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
  • An engineering background is highly desirable.
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), user story mapping, and prioritization frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX/UI, sales, and marketing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
