Position Title: Lead Infrastructure Architect



Location:

What you will be doing:
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyze complex data sets to uncover key trends and provide actionable insights. Utilize advanced SQL knowledge to manage large databases, focusing on efficiency in query writing and index tuning.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics using Power BI. Propose and design innovative dashboards for real-time operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration & Solution Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and deliver solutions that enhance the company's data-driven decision-making capabilities. This includes interactions with teams from technology, operations, and management.
  • Data Pipeline Automation: Use Python to automate data pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance. Adapt and innovate data extraction and transformation processes, integrating traditional and streaming data sources.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve data practices and tools. Present new ideas for dashboards and data processes that can enhance business outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience in data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated expertise in SQL, including custom logic and stored procedures. Strong experience with ETL processes, covering both traditional and streaming data sources.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Python, with experience automating data pipelines.
    • Advanced proficiency in BI tools, preferably Power BI, with openness to utilizing tools like Tableau or Qlik.
    • Experience with Azure cloud data warehousing solutions and familiarity with Azure DevOps for collaborative coding.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with and presenting to diverse teams.
  • Agile Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
  • Additional Competencies: Basic knowledge of data quality and governance tools, with a willingness to learn and expand in this area.
