We’re hiring a Billing Analyst to ensure accurate and timely invoicing by managing billing processes, interpreting reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Position Title: Mid-Level Billing Analyst

Location: Remote - Colombia
What you will be doing:
The Billing Analyst will support billing operations across multiple offices. This role focuses on executing daily, weekly, and monthly billing tasks with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring proper invoicing and financial reporting. You will work closely with Engagement Support teams, leveraging Excel and Power BI reports to manage billing workflows. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Monitor billing-related communications and queues for urgent items.
  • Maintain and refresh invoice tracking systems across assigned offices.
  • Review and process unbilled items using Power BI and other tools.
  • Prepare, deliver, and revise invoice drafts, including applying discounts and reason codes.
  • Resolve draft rejections and manage undrafted or off-cadence billing items.
  • Respond to billing inquiries, tickets, and service requests.
  • Perform invoice reversals, re-submissions, and related research.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including reason codes and processing notes.
  • Escalate aged billing items and collaborate with Engagement Support teams.
  • Conduct audits on billing data, delivery methods, and placeholder entries.
  • Clean up $0 fixed fee time entries and submit late time entries and expenses.
  • Complete time-sensitive tasks such as updating Fixed Fee input dates (Mondays), Expense input dates (Expense Days), and Time input dates (month-end).

Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • 2–4 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable/payable, or accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to interact with and interpret Power BI reports.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and billing processes.
  • Experience in professional services billing.
  • Familiarity with ERP or financial reporting systems.
  • Proactive problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
