What you will be doing:
We are seeking a Front End Engineer to join a strategic digital transformation initiative for a leading Hospital System and Academic Medical Center. In this role, you will help build a modern, patient-focused web platform that enables patients and caregivers to easily navigate healthcare services, discover care pathways, and access critical information.
You will work closely with designers, architects, product owners, and backend engineers to deliver highly performant, accessible, and responsive digital experiences using modern frontend technologies and headless content management systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience developing modern web applications with React and Next.js.
- Proficiency with Tailwind CSS and responsive UI development.
- Experience working with at least one enterprise headless CMS platform, such as:
- Contentful
- Sitecore XM Cloud
- Contentstack
- Similar headless CMS solutions
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating content-driven applications.
- Knowledge of frontend performance optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and SEO best practices.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience configuring and managing Sitecore templates, layouts, renderings, and placeholders.
- Experience configuring Sitecore workflows, user roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale digital experience platforms.
- Experience in healthcare, patient engagement, or highly regulated industries.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud deployment practices.
