We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to build web interfaces within a large scale AWS modernization program. This role focuses on React or Angular development, reusable components, and integration with backend APIs.

What you will be doing:
You will translate requirements and interface designs into responsive application features, build reusable components, and connect user workflows to REST APIs. You will implement application state, input validation, loading behavior, and error handling.
You will test and troubleshoot frontend functionality, improve accessibility and application performance, and participate in code reviews. You will collaborate with backend engineers and QA to deliver consistent behavior across browsers and application workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Practical experience developing web applications with React.
Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous requests and JSON data.
Understanding of component design, state management, responsive layouts, and browser behavior.
Experience with frontend testing, debugging, and performance troubleshooting.
Experience using Git and collaborating through code reviews and CI/CD workflows.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with both React and Angular.
Familiarity with Cognito, OAuth, OIDC, or JWT in frontend authentication flows.
Experience with accessibility practices, reusable design systems, or GitLab CI/CD.
Soft Skills
Attention to usability, visual consistency, and application behavior.
Clear communication with designers, backend engineers, and QA.
Ownership of implementation quality and responsiveness to feedback.
