We seek a Senior DataBase Administrator with a solid English level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for: 

Position Title:  Senior DataBase Administrator



Location: Remote

What you will be doing:
  • Administer, maintain, and secure AWS RDS instances, ensuring high availability and
  • performance.
  • Implement and monitor data security measures, including access controls and encryption, in
  • compliance with GDPR and other relevant standards.
  • Develop and execute disaster recovery plans, including backup and restore strategies, to
  • minimize data loss and downtime.
  • Optimize SQL queries and database structures for performance and efficiency, utilizing indexing
  • and query execution plans.
  • Lead database migration projects, ensuring seamless schema and data migration across
  • systems.
  • Manage Git for database version control, ensuring integrity and accountability in database
  • schema changes.





Requirements & Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in managing relational databases, specifically with AWS RDS.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL query optimization, indexing, and execution plans.
  • Expertise in database security protocols, including encryption and access control, with a focus on
  • GDPR compliance.
  • Experienced in disaster recovery planning and implementation, with hands-on competence in
  • backup and restore operations.
  • Proven track record of successful database migration projects.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control of database schemas.

Nice to Have Skills
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with other cloud database technologies, though AWS RDS is the focus.
  • Knowledge of database automation tools
