Overview:

 

Performs technical work in support of List Services operation. Work involves evaluating, processing, and preparing address data for mailing activities within the retail, catalog, publication, and direct mail markets.

 

Position Title: List Services Support Specialist

 

Location: Remote

 

What you will be doing:
  • Understanding Data Processing: Assisting in the evaluation, processing, and preparation of address data for mailing activities within various markets.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication of production issues and requirements across various departments and locations.
  • Problem Resolution: Ability to resolve processing discrepancies and work with internal staff or third-party vendors for solutions.
  • Job Instruction Interpretation: Interpret job instructions accurately and facilitate the creation of new instructions if discrepancies are found.
  • Job Progress Monitoring: Estimate job completion dates, communicate job progress, and update production schedules accordingly.
  • Data Evaluation and Standardization: Evaluate customer input data, perform data standardization processes, and ensure data integrity. (CRM management)
  • Duplicate Address Elimination: Set matching and priority criteria to eliminate duplicate addresses. (This is CRM management)
  • Mail Preparation: Utilize certified software for mail preparation to achieve optimal postage discounts and support cooperative mailing programs.
  • Layout and Formatting: Layout and format data according to manufacturing and customer requirements.
  • Ancillary Paperwork Generation: Generate necessary paperwork for mailing production processes.
  • Reporting: Generate reports for internal and external customer approvals and communicate results effectively.
  • Quality Adherence: Adhere to data and mail preparation production standards and internal quality procedures.
  • Billing Support: Summarize data record counts for billing activities.





Requirements & Qualifications
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements. Two years of post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Ability to manage personal workload effectively in a busy environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Access, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of address components and mail preparation Presort software.
