Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale high-impact product features and backend systems. This role blends strong software engineering fundamentals with product-focused thinking, enabling the delivery of scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions that directly support business objectives.You will work within cross-functional teams alongside Product Managers and Designers to translate business requirements into robust technical implementations, contributing to both system architecture and product innovation

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience with at least one backend language preferably Java
- Experience with the Java ecosystem (Spring Boot, Micronaut preferred)
- Experience with component-based or microservices architectures
- Strong understanding of database design and data modeling
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit)
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Hands-on experience with:
- Git/GitHub
- JIRA, Confluence
- CI/CD tools (e.g., CircleCI)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proven experience collaborating in cross-functional product teams
Nice to Have Skills
- 9+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience in fast-growing or startup environments
- Contributions to open source projects or active GitHub/Stack Overflow presence
- Strong understanding of product-driven development practices
- Experience with other backend languages like C# or Python

- Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions
- Solid understanding of software architecture and system design principles
