About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced revenue manager who wants to help continue to fuel our success as an accounting organization as we grow organically and through many acquisitions. You will take your expertise in the revenue recognition and use it to drive continued process improvement in the area of revenue by investigating proper revenue treatment of acquisitions, ensuring revenue compliance with ASC 606 for LeadVenture’s global operations, and providing key insights into revenue fluctuations and movements on a monthly basis that will help drive critical operational decisions.

Here is more of what you’ll get to do:

  • Review key analyses and account reconciliations for revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basis
  • Approve journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basis
  • Provide detailed insight into revenue fluctuations on a monthly basis investigating transactional drivers and working with billing operations on root cause
  • Assist FP&A teams with monthly reporting package revenue commentary
  • Document incoming acquisitions revenue processes and incorporate in LeadVenture’s ASC 606 position memos
  • Support and participate in companywide projects for revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycles including requirements gathering, UAT and implementation
  • Oversee audit activities related to revenue recognition and deferred revenue

You’ll thrive in this role if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting (required)
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in revenue recognition
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606
  • Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity and be critical thinking
  • NetSuite, Dynamics, and Salesforce experience a plus
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees
  • Organized approach with a strong attention to detail, self-starter
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
