Renewal Specialist

The Renewal Specialist is responsible for engaging with our customers to renew PartSmart. The individual in this role demonstrates superior customer relations and strives to ensure customer satisfaction. The Renewal Specialist reports to the Manager of the Customer Success Team.

Here is more of what you’ll get to do:

  • Engage our current client base to assist with renewing PartSmart.
  • Receive incoming calls, make outbound calls and return calls to customers who left a voicemail or need to follow-up with regarding a previous conversation.
  • Contact customers who have open PartSmart renewals. Discuss open renewals, pricing questions, adjust orders based on client needs.
  • Convey the value of our products to client base.
  • Meet and exceed monthly goals by managing activity.
  • Maintain renewal rate for our products at or above budgeted levels.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of customer service, retail or call center experience
  • Track record of exceeding goals and targets
  • Demonstrated experience operating within a culture of accountability
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with high touch relationship building skills.
  • Exceptional integrity, honesty and trustworthiness
  • Skilled in internet browsing, the Windows environment and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in data entry: 30 WPM
  • Ability to complete a structured training program.
  • Ability to listen for cues from the customer to identify underlying issues.
  • Ability to work inter-departmentally to accomplish objectives and solve issues, get along with others, accent constructive feedback and exhibit a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and demonstrated initiative.
  • Technology savvy.
  • High capacity to learn and adapt.
