Revenue Accountant 
Here is more of what you’ll get to do: 
  • Calculate/estimate the amount of revenue to be recognized/accrued in the books. 
  • Perform revenue analytics based on product, product family, and brand. 
  • Work with contracting and billing team to maintain a central repository of all contracts. 
  • Assist with the review of material contracts and understand billing requirements from various funding sources. 
  • Assist with the review and analytics of key metrics.   
  • Perform monthly close tasks associated with revenue, including timely and accurate completion of close deliverables to meet tight deadlines.  This also includes preparation of journal entries, accounts reconciliations, and testing of our internal revenue process to ensure that revenue accounting is accurate and complete. 
  • Assist the revenue team with ad hoc analytics and special projects. 
 
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:  
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required. 
  • Good communication skills and team building. 
  • Relevant experience of three years and above in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or in-house corporate team. 
  • Technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 606, revenue recognition accounting standards, is required. 
  • High level of proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and database applications. 
  • CPA or equivalent license required or eligible and in process to obtain. 
  • Experience with NetSuite, and FloQast are preferred.  Knowledge of other ERP software tools such as Quickbooks, and Xero are a plus.
