Here is what you’ll get to do:
- Ensure that data is entered into the system in a way that both accommodates client needs and is sustainable
- Assist with tasks assigned by high profile or at-risk clientele
- Identify any platform shortcomings and work with internal teams to create a strategy to troubleshoot and resolve the problem
- Act as a liaison between the inventory team and other in-house departments regarding inventory platform knowledge. Be ready to intervene and take over requests as needed.
- Compile, verify accuracy, and sort catalog updates according to priorities
- Take requests from various in-house departments for modifications to manufacturer catalog subscriptions
- Ensure that all manufacturer catalog processes follow proper procedure from inception to resolution.
- Assist Tier 1 inventory members by running standard database updates and educating when necessary
- Assist in various team projects for custom solutions or process improvements
- Additional duties from time to time, as assigned by management
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Exceptional critical thinking / troubleshooting / problem solving skills / attention to detail
- Extremely strong knowledge regarding the trims database. Know the consequences of changing any database information across all platforms.
- Extremely knowledgeable regarding trims database. In particular interactions and side effects of changes across all platforms.
- Basic knowledge of the industries served by the DS platform
- Strong familiarity with the unique tools used by the Inventory Team (canonical, subscription, trimsDB, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Enjoy technical challenges and working to develop creative solutions
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with varying in-house departments
- Strong project management and organization skills
- Independent and self-motivated with the ability to work alone or on a team
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- 1 Year+ in the T1 inventory role
- Acute knowledge of all DS industries
- Experience with data analytics
